CBG/CNG Pumping Station
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is one of cleanest and most economic fuel used by light and heavy-duty vehicles. Main advantages of CNG are its low emission, low price, low engine noise, and lowest operating cost. CNG vehicles are designed to run on biogas refined to natural gas quality. Biogas extracted from biomass is a renewable resource which can be used to replace fossil natural gas. Compared to gasoline and diesel it does not create solid particles on exhaust fumes when burned. Exhaust pollutants can have adverse health and environmental effects. The use of vehicle running on CNG can cut down carbon dioxide emissions and other toxic gasses considerably. CNG Filling station for vehicles is an attractive revenue source for retail gas pumping stations.
After extracting biogas from your Biogas plant, it can be processed to CBG to be used by vehicles specifically designed for using CBG/CNG. Designing a CBG Station for your Municipality Waste Management fleet or for retail fuel business requires the right amount of storage and the size of the compressor to be installed, as both factors determine the amount of fuel dispensed and the time CNG takes to be delivered. A CNG fuelling system is a major investment requiring dedicated service that will always be available to ensure you get the most out of your investment. We will continue to support by rendering fast service response. Our technology partner can install either Fast-Filling Station or a Time-Filling station depending on the customer’s application or can combine both Time-Filling and Fast-Filling Pumping station in the same terminal.
Benefits of CBG/CNG
- Converting municipality fleet to use CBG/CNG will lower it fuel cost when compared using diesel. The cost saving can also be pass on to its customers by keeping dump collection rate low.
- Biogas is locally produced and therefore not subjected to international pricing like fossil fuel which prices are volatile. For countries who don’t produce oil and refine it will benefit from CBG.
- CBG is good for the environment; if municipality converts its fleet to CNG it will reduce emissions and noise pollution when compared to conventional diesel vehicles.
- CBG can create jobs in the community and beyond.
